6 weeks

We made it to six weeks! Finally my legs aren't hurting me as much as they had been.  Also my digestive concerns seem to be getting better which makes me very happy.  Nothing like trying to remember your 8oz cup of Plum Juice and your Chewy PreNatal Vitamins every morning.  These days, I could probably go to sleep at 7 or 8, but I know that I'd be up again at 4 or 5 in the morning... so instead I have to motivate myself to stay up till at least 9:30.

I had my first bought of nausea early this week, thankfully it was only one day and I really think it was tied in with something I ate.  That stock of Tums I have in various places is coming in handy.

I told my boss this week and she took the news well.  We plan to tell everyone else next week with really cute announcement cards we ordered from Zazzle.com.  I would highly recommend them, good price and speedy delivery.  We did the postcard option and they look great.  (sorry, you can't see them yet).

Brett has been very supportive and he just kind of goes along with my requests.  I really wanted an Oreo Blizzard the other day and he took Spot to go get me one.  (Thank Goodness it was only a mini) Score 10 for my awesome Husband.

My sweet Sister-In-Law has been checking in on me... I enjoy hearing from her and I'm glad she's so excited.  Love you! My Mama is also really excited, she has been really good about keeping the secret so we can announce it how we want to.  I know she would love to tell her Mama and Sister though.

My bestie is also excited for her new niece/nephew that is growing as we speak.  I'm excited to get some of her awesome knitted creations.  Speaking of sewing... Brett and I found a cross stitch quilt we really liked and I'm going to make it for Baby Burg, since he ordered it for us.  Hopefully we can find some wall stencils we like within the next few months so Brett can paint those on the nursery wall when he paints the room.

I can't really think of anything else to add today.  Next week is my first appointment and I'm going to try and get an Ultrasound so we can make sure there is just one Baby Burg and not two growing.  Cross your fingers that they let me get one.

I will be back next week after my appointment.

Until Next Time~
