4th of July was a good time, it was so HOT out, but we survived. We went to the Springfield Cardinals game and then stuck around for a local band "Members Only" followed by Fireworks at the Field which is a local event Springfield puts on. I always love fireworks. I wasn't too pleased to come home and find out the neighbors directly to our north thought they needed to do fireworks of their own. The big kind. I'm pretty sure the dogs weren't happy either. They seemed very glad to have us home.
We got a new mattress this week, a tempurpedic. I'm SO excited. The other mattress was old and felt old when you slept on it. Since it was clean we donated it to a local mission. I had a great night's sleep last night and I'm pretty sure I'll be even more thankful for this mattress as we get further along towards Baby P's arrival. (Need a new mattress in Springfield? Go see Sharon at Ashley Furniture)
There really hasn't been a whole lot else this week. It's been so hot we've been staying inside where it is cool. I feel really good this week and haven't had many complaints. My left leg has been hurting me in the hip area and I found out on Monday it's because Baby P has tilted my uterus that direction and is basically sitting on my leg. The Doctor said it'll go away in a month (a Month?!).
Well, that's all for now. Hope you're staying cool as well.
Baby P at 8 weeks 5 days. Less than an inch from head to rump.
