Had an appointment this week and the doctor reported that baby is still head down, but nothing too exciting has happened yet. We have been working on the final touches of the baby’s room including putting up the rest of the décor, getting the miscellaneous items put away, and just generally prepping for Baby’s arrival (which could honestly be at any point).
It was warm here over the weekend – 55-60* and we enjoyed the time outside. Brett took this opportunity to brew more beer and I used it to let some sun light into the house. My hands have started having symptoms of carpal tunnel which is a real annoyance – they get numb and tingly and ache. Oh well – it’s all part of the process. My hospital bag and baby’s bag are pretty much ready to go. We have a very basic birth plan and the car seat base and mirror are installed in the car.
Honestly, I can’t think of much else at this point. We have another doctor’s appointment on 1/21 – I’ll update again around 1/24 which is 38 weeks. We hope to get a good update! Here are some photos and we’ll update again soon.
