25, 26, 27 Weeks

So... Apparently I'm behind on updating the blog. Weeks 25-27 have been productive and good. We went to Ames and visited family where we got some gifts from Brett's grandma. We also went to Iowa State Homecoming and had fun spending time with friends, despite the fact it was rather cold out. Brett's parents bought us a crib while we were in town and we had to wait for its delivery to Babies R Us!

Week 26 was our baby shower where we came out RICH in blankets. We also got some other great gifts including a pack n play and cute outfits. Plus, my best friend came to town as a surprise to visit with us. Brett's parents also came to town and we had a lot of fun visiting with all our company. Halloween was this week and I had a cute shirt from Etsy to wear. We also had our maternity pics this week and it was a lot of fun. :o)

Now we're at 27 weeks! We got our crib and its all set up. It's super nice to and it is enjoyable to have actual nursery furniture in the nursery. Everything has been going really well and I can't complain. Baby is the size of a rutabaga, about 14.5 inches long and moves all the time. It's fun to feel baby moving around.

I think that's all that's been going on around here. Can't believe I got so far behind. I'll try to stay more on top of it.
